Guests joining a Sherlock Holmes character in a murder mystery

A Sherlock Holmes character and guests at a previous event.

Sherlock Holmes: a London favourite since 2003

We’ve been running our Sherlock Holmes murder mystery dining experience since 2003. Bring your powers of deduction to a comedy mystery inspired by the world of London’s famous detective.

Question the characters, weigh up the evidence and put your theories to the test. Dinner gives you time to discuss the clues; our actors provide plenty of reasons to doubt your first suspect.

Ask about a Sherlock Holmes theme for a private Christmas booking, or check which shared dates feature it.

How your Christmas evening unfolds

Allow around three hours for dinner and the mystery. Exact timings depend on your chosen package.

1. Arrive & mingle

Meet your colleagues, settle into the venue and begin to wonder who deserves your suspicion.

2. Meet the characters

Our actors set the scene and introduce a case with more than one possible culprit.

3. Dine & investigate

Enjoy dinner, question the suspects and compare the evidence as the plot develops.

4. Make your accusation

Decide who did it and why, then discover whether your detective work stands up to scrutiny.

Choose how your guests take part

Silver role-play: two professional actors host the mystery, with guests playing the suspects. A lively choice for a group that enjoys getting into character.

Gold interactive: three professional actors bring the characters to life while your guests investigate. Ask us which format suits your party size and venue.

For larger celebrations, we can discuss a bigger cast. Your private quotation will specify the format and staffing.

Already booked your Christmas venue?

We can also provide the murder mystery entertainment at your chosen London hotel, restaurant or office. Tell us about the space and catering arrangements so we can assess what will work.
