Refund Policy Q & A

This applies to our public Murder Mystery Events, Dinners and Weekends.

We understand that plans sometimes change. The information below explains how refunds, transfers and cancellations work for our events.

Can I get a refund if I can’t attend?

Tickets are non-refundable if the event goes ahead as planned.

This is because costs such as venue hire, performers and catering are committed in advance.

However, you may:

• transfer your ticket to another person free of charge
• transfer to another event (see below)

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes.

You may transfer your ticket to another guest free of charge at any time before the event.

Just let us know so we can update the booking.

Can I move my booking to another event?

In many cases yes.

Tickets may be transferred to another event up to 21 days before the event date, subject to availability and a £20 administration fee per ticket.

If the new event has a higher ticket price, the difference will need to be paid.

Do VIP Club members get extra flexibility?

Yes.

VIP Club members may transfer their bookings:

Dinner events: up to 7 days before the event
Weekend events (with accommodation): up to 21 days before the event

Transfers remain subject to availability.

What happens if the event is cancelled?

If we cancel an event for any reason (for example insufficient bookings or venue issues), you will be offered:

• a full refund, or
transfer to another event

What happens if the venue or hotel has a problem?

Our events are hosted at partner venues.

If there is an issue with food, accommodation or venue service, please notify venue staff or our host during the event so the issue can be resolved.

What if I bought my ticket using a voucher?

If you purchased a voucher through a third-party provider (such as Virgin Experience Days or Buyagift):

• voucher refunds must be requested directly from the voucher provider
• once a voucher has been redeemed and an event booked, the booking is subject to our standard ticket terms.

What if I arrive late?

Events run to a schedule, so late arrival may mean you miss parts of the experience.

Tickets remain non-refundable.

What if someone is asked to leave the event?

We reserve the right to ask guests to leave if behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or excessively intoxicated.

No refund will be given in these circumstances.

Who should I contact if I have a problem?

If something is not right during the event, please tell our Event Manager or venue staff so we can try to fix the issue straight away.

Most problems can be resolved quickly when raised at the time.
