How does a teambuilding murder mystery work?
There are several different formats to run a murder mystery event, the most popular being over a three-course dinner (see here for more on that), but the format is very adaptable and flexible, it can be run over any dinner format from 5 course dinner in a swanky hotel, buffet to over pizza in the office and everything in between!
Its also great run as a training exercise in a meeting room over a couple of hours. Or simply over drinks and canapes. Interestingly if hiring a whole venue we can run the event over several rooms in a promenade style.
We have two formats to our murder mysteries and we recommend our interactive style for teambuilding. This is where several actors play the key suspects and perform comic scenes, followed by the opportunity for participants to ‘hot seat’ the suspects for a mild interrogation. We also introduce word games and anagrams to help solve the murder. As the event comes to a close its up to the teams to deliver their solutions and the winning team gets a prize!
