The meal was very tasty too, serving staff looked after us very well.
Would definitely recommend this event and hope to attend more of these for a fun night out.
They've been really friendly, and respectful and appreciative of what I've brought to the mix. They've built good relationships with venues, and they have a returning customer base too, so there's a really fun atmosphere to every gig. The plots are suitably labyrinthine, and there's plenty of humour. On the management side, the communication is good, and there are open channels to the senior team to give feedback after each job. They never quibble about pay or delay paying - which as a freelance actor is really important.
The players were very amusing and helped the evening along but the hotel staff were also really welcoming and helpful.
The communication with the event organisers was first rate and I can't wait to book again.
Our Past Clients Include:-
An Interactive Team Building Experience
A team building murder mystery is a unique and interactive way to get your team working brilliantly together, break boundaries, and laugh a lot!
These events are immersive activities that make collaboration, problem-solving, and communication a thrilling game. Picture this: you and your team don detective hats, dive into a fictional whodunit, and unravel clues while grilling suspects. It’s part Sherlock Holmes, part strategic mastermind, all wrapped up in a business-friendly package.
These events mix the suspense of a detective novel with the cunning of a boardroom strategy session, making them both entertaining and educational. By nudging participants to think creatively and work together in a playful setting, these events can turn team cohesion into a crime-solving spree and boost workplace dynamics to detective-level sharpness.
Why Have a Team Building Murder Mystery?
- Have you ever wanted to get your team working together better?
- Would you like to achieve this in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere?
- Would your team enjoy sharing a belly laugh and problem solve simultaneously?
- Would you like to improve team dynamics in a fun and exciting way?
If so, a team building murder mystery event is for you!
What are the Benefits of this Team Building Event?
- It appeals to all ages and genders – everyone enjoys a good whodunnit and a good laugh!
- It appeals to extroverts and introverts; our unique style means you may participate as little or as much as you like.
- It’s weather-proof, as it’s usually performed undercover (although Pimm’s and a BBQ for a summer party are always a hit!).
- There’s nothing better for team building. If you plan the teams carefully, you can quickly break boundaries and create new team dynamics in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, which can lead to long-term positive changes at work.
How Does This Work As A Team Building Experience?
There are several different formats for running this type of event; the most popular being over a three-course dinner, but the format is very adaptable and flexible.
It can be run over any dinner format, from a five-course dinner in a swanky hotel to a buffet to pizza in the office and everything in between! It’s also great to run as a training exercise in a meeting room over a couple of hours. Or simply over drinks and canapes. If hiring a whole venue, we can run the event over several rooms in a promenade style.
We have two formats for our murder mysteries, and we recommend our interactive style for team building. This is where several actors play the key suspects and perform comic scenes, followed by the opportunity for participants to ‘hot seat’ the suspects for a mild interrogation.
We also introduce word games and anagrams to help solve the murder. As the event comes to a close, it’s up to the teams to deliver their solutions, and the winning team gets a prize!
Does your team have the problem-solving skills and powers of deduction needed to work out whodunnit?
Murder mystery team building events are a fun and powerful way to bring together staff members to solve a unique puzzle – who is the murderer? Our events will get your staff both thinking and working together to start solving clues and interacting.
- Working with each other and our professional actors in a fun and laid-back setting where nobody feels judged. Whether your teams are made up of probing Poirot’s or shrewd Sherlocks, we guarantee an event to challenge, engage and amuse.
- Our murder mystery events can offer a break from the norm of team-building exercises and unite your team in finding out who did it. The feedback (and rebooking rates) show that companies value our team-building events, which have been shown to improve staff morale and help challenge and hone problem-solving skills with powers of deduction.
- You can choose our role-play murder dinner, designed especially for groups of 8-25 members to take the role of integral characters and help each other solve the crime.
These murder mystery events are available throughout the country at several venues. We would encourage any team to take on the challenge!
