Complete Murder brings together the food, drinks and entertainment for a private murder mystery dinner party at your home, holiday rental or chosen venue.

As dinner unfolds, so does the mystery. Secrets slip out, alibis unravel and your seemingly respectable guests become suspiciously good at pointing the finger.

Pre-dinner cocktails

Start the investigation with something shaken or stirred. A professional mixologist serves three cocktails per person, with your selection agreed in advance and alcohol-free alternatives available.

Drinks ingredients, ice, garnishes and cocktail glassware are included in your agreed service.

Your own private chef

Sit down to a three-course meal prepared by your private chef, with ingredients, waiting service and kitchen clean-up included.

We’ll discuss menu choices, dietary requirements and kitchen facilities before confirming your booking.

Professional murder mystery

Our professional actor or actors lead a comedy whodunnit around dinner. Question the suspects, compare clues and make your accusation before the culprit is revealed.

We’ll recommend the cast and participation level for your group.

Included: Silver — two professional actors host a fun role-play mystery, with your guests playing the suspects.

Upgrade to Gold from £25 per person — three professional actors bring an immersive mystery to life while your guests investigate.

Staff, food and travel are included in your confirmed package quote.

Dining tables, seating, plates, cutlery and dinner glassware must be available at your venue; hire is not included. Any additional requirements will be itemised before you book.

1. Drinks & intrigue

Welcome your guests and enjoy pre-dinner cocktails while the chef prepares dinner. Admire the outfits. Start watching the alibis.

2. Meet the suspects

Your host sets the scene. Meet the characters or discover the role you’ll be playing, depending on your chosen format.

3. Dinner & deception

The mystery develops around three courses, with time to eat, chat, question the suspects and examine the clues.

4. Name the killer

Who had the motive? Whose story doesn’t add up? Submit your solution before the culprit is revealed.

Example schedule: cocktails from 5pm, followed by dinner and the mystery from approximately 7pm–10pm. Your timings will be agreed to suit your booking.

The £140 per person rate applies to groups of 14 or more. Prices for smaller groups are shown above. Availability and venue suitability must be confirmed before a deposit is taken. Any agreed extras will be itemised in your quote. For bookings within four weeks of the event, payment arrangements will be confirmed with your quote.

Booking is simple

1. Tell us about your party

Share your preferred date, postcode, approximate guest numbers and what you’re celebrating.

2. Choose your experience

We’ll check availability and recommend a package, with a clear quote and the details you need to decide.

3. Get ready for the mystery

Once booked, we’ll coordinate the menu, entertainment and drinks, and explain anything needed before the day.

Your questions, investigated

Yes—tell us your location and about the property so we can check its suitability and team availability. For holiday rentals or hired venues, please obtain the owner’s permission and check restrictions on visitors, catering, entertainment and noise.

You’ll need suitable dining space, seating, a clean kitchen and somewhere for the actors to prepare. Dining tables, chairs, plates, cutlery and dinner glassware are not included. We’ll check the kitchen facilities and confirm all requirements before you book.

Please tell us about allergies and dietary requirements when you enquire so the catering team can assess them and agree suitable arrangements before you book.

We offer different levels of participation. Tell us whether your group would enjoy playing characters or prefer our actors to lead the action. Dressing up is optional and we’ll explain the preparation needed for your chosen format.

Please include guests’ ages in your enquiry so we can advise on suitable themes and content. Alcohol-free alternatives can be arranged as part of the agreed drinks selection.

The package is designed for groups of 8 or more. Enquire about smaller parties, larger groups and the cast size that best suits your venue and celebration.

Following availability checks and acceptance of your quote, a £10 per person deposit reserves your booking. It forms part of your total package price. The balance is due four weeks before the event. Your booking confirmation will set out the applicable payment and cancellation terms.

Travel, food and staffing for your agreed package are included in your confirmed quote. Any requested extras or equipment hire will be itemised before you commit.
