Nobody is forced to perform.
With Bronze and Silver, willing guests take on simple suspect roles with the support of our actors. They don’t need to learn a script or invent a performance. Some roles will appeal to extroverts and some to introverts, it all works out wonderfully.
With Gold and Platinum, our professional actors play the key suspects. Some plots provide the opportunity for extroverts to take on small roles, this depends on the plot choice.
Your guests simply watch, investigate, question the characters and solve the case in teams.
This makes the experience suitable for mixed groups that include confident performers, quieter guests, and everyone in between.

Since 2000, MurderMysteryEvents.com has entertained thousands of guests at thousands of private parties, hotels and corporate events across the UK.
Our professional performers combine structured storytelling with live improvisation, creating an experience that feels personal to the people in the room—not like a script being recited at them.

A private function space where the actors can address the whole group is normally sufficient. You do not need to make extra space for the actors. We’ll discuss the room layout and practical requirements with you before the event.
Unless highlighted as a child-friendly plot, all our plots involve sworded subjects; murder is a dirty business! Sex, Drugs and Rock n Roll, go with the territory. We employ double-entendre humour. So imagine our events carry a 12A film certificate.
