1. Promoter

2. Eligibility

  • Entry is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.

  • Employees, contractors and immediate family members of MurderMysteryEvents.com may enter for fun but are not eligible to win prizes.

  • No purchase is necessary to enter.

  • Free entry is available via social media submission as outlined above.

3. Entry Requirements

To enter:

  • Upload a murder mystery themed photograph to Facebook or Instagram

  • Tag MurderMysteryEvents.com where possible

  • Include the hashtag #MurderMysteryMugshots

Entries must:

  • Be the entrant’s own original content

  • Not infringe any copyright or intellectual property rights

  • Not contain offensive, defamatory, discriminatory or unlawful material

  • Be suitable for public display

The promoter reserves the right to remove or disqualify inappropriate entries.

4. Competition Period

  • Monthly prize competitions run continuously throughout the year.

  • Monthly winners are normally selected within 14 days of month-end.

  • Grand prize winners are selected twice annually.

The promoter reserves the right to amend prize dates where necessary.

5. Winner Selection

Winners are selected by a judging panel based on:

  • Thematic relevance

7. Prize Redemption

  • Must redeem prizes within 12 months unless otherwise stated

  • May be required to provide multiple date options

Certain peak dates may be excluded.

8. Publicity

By entering the competition, entrants grant MurderMysteryEvents.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

  • Share submitted images

  • Repost entries on websites and social media

  • Use entries in future promotional material related to the competition

Entrants retain ownership of their images.

If an entrant wishes an image to be removed from future marketing, reasonable requests will be honoured where practical.
