This year we have increased the number of our murder mystery themes to include some really unique evenings which we have enjoyed just as much as our guests. The atmosphere for all of our events is very important and we have enjoyed tremendously being able to perform such a wide variety of themes and events over 2017, that we struggle to pick out our favourite! With this in mind, here is a handful of some of our most enjoyable murder mystery themes of 2017 and the reasons we like them so much.
The mystery of the Golden Scarab
Jealousy, rivalry, a theft and eventually a murder; this theme has got it all! This archaeological themed mystery feels close and intimate with only actors needed to perform it. The theme also has small parts for guests to play meaning that everyone can get truly wrapped up in the plot making the entire evening feel much more realistic. Be taken away on an intrigue filled adventure where you can trust no one in the search for the killer and thief.
Murder at the Moulin Rouge
Nothing screams murder quite like the bright lights, dazzling diamond and fancy feathers of the Moulin Rouge, right? Performing this theme has been a highlight of the year for many of our actors who have enjoyed playing riotous characters in this comedic caper of opening night in gay Paris. The evening itself includes a disco so there is no sitting or moping about during this event. Guests can even join the cabaret with small parts, so everyone can be involved in our most frivolous and fancy theme yet.
The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party
This theme has quickly become a firm favourite with our cast as it has been created as a family friendly event so children over 10 can play too. Only 2 actors are needed as you and your guests will take on the roles of suspects and characters in Wonderland as you try to figure out who has stolen the Queen of Hearts tarts. But before you can find the thief, a murder is committed! The culprit is amongst you and you have to figure out who has helped The Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts. This theme can be played by up to 30 guests, which only serves to make finding the killer that bit more difficult. Can you unmask the murderer and find the Queen’s tarts before the Jam Jamboree?
We have had so much fun creating and performing these themes with our guests this year and we are very much looking forward to what new themes we can create in 2018.
