Named the UK City of Culture in 2017, Hull is packed with attractions and places to visit, many of which were reinvigorated as part of the City of Culture celebrations. Our hotel in Hull is well connected to Yorkshire and further afield – located just off the A63, and a few minutes away from the Humber Bridge. Hull city centre is a 15-minute drive away, and if you don’t fancy driving into Hull, there’s a park and ride facility less than half a mile from the hotel. Lady Plenty is opening her new tea rooms in Baker Street and is celebrating in style by showing off the mysterious Black Pearl, said to be a pirates treasure. However, not all goes according to plan and soon there’s robbery and a hideous murder is committed. Sherlock Holmes is called in to solve the crime. This production is a hilarious romp with a real mystery to solve. Performed by 3 or more professional actors with small parts for guests.
December: Who Killed Santa?
Join Mr Elfridge for his department stores Christmas Party, everyones’ enjoying the fun when there is a dramatic twist- And I don’t mean Miss Camiknickers in Ladies Fashions- Someone’s a murderer? But whodunnit?? Only one person is free to solve the crime… Sherlock!!
Jan to Feb: Downfall Abbey:
You are cordially invited to the Masters and Servants Ball at Downfall Abbey. It’s the one night of the year when everyone at Downfall mixes together. You may be a Countess or a Cook but Carton, the butler, s there to make sure the night goes with a bang. However Downfall Abbey is in terrible danger and there’s a murderer on the loose! Join Sherlock Holmes as we commit murder at DOWNFALL ABBEY, a hilarious romp at Britain’s favourite stately home. It’s up to you to help us solve the crime…
March to April: Professor Bugle’s Last Post:
Professor Bugle the mad German scientist is celebrating because he has been awarded “The Golden Test tube” for services to a famous childrens’ hospital. Unfortunately, his laboratory where the dinner was to be held has been broken into, so he changed the venue at the last minute. His close friends are pleased to be celebrating with the Professor but soon a hideous murder is committed and it’s up to you and the ace detective Sherlock Holmes to solve the crime. Performed by 3 or more professional actors with small parts for guests.
